Love this yarn - the colors are amazing (and don’t bleed). Mostly I use Rios for hats and fingerless mitts
Absolutely be this yarn. So soft, brilliant colors and no handwashing.
My go-to worsted weight yarn. I know that anything I make with this soft, washable wool will be appreciated for how good it feels and for how easy it is for the receiver to take good care of it.
Malabrigo Rios is a beautiful yarn, fun to work with and it does not pill, whereas M Worsted does.
The WEBS yarn site is a great place to purchase yarn, especially if you are familiar with the brand. You can select the brand you are looking for and the results will bring you all the varieties for that dyer. You will be able to view how much of each colorway is available so you can see if sweater sized amounts are there. Closeups of the skeins or balls is also shown.
Malabrigo has some of the very best colorways available! Rios is a standard in my knitting - I make fingerless mitts all time with this line of yarn - normally several pairs a year. I holds up well when worn and the colors don't fade!
My favorite yarn. A solid, workhorse yarn that is unbelievably buttery soft. Garments I knitted with Rios that I have worn for years still have no pills. Colors are incredible and in my experience have not faded.
I've done probably 20 projects with Malabrigo Rios. Cowls, sweaters, hats, and every one of them is beautiful. This yarn is soft and warm, has delightful colors and color shifts, and is about my favorite yarn to work with. Generous yardage, gorgeous drape, and really fun to use.
Great yarn! Colors are many and varied, the quality is top notch dye consistent, no knots or splices. Works up, blocks, washes and wears well. Only one drawback.... The hanks are often mishandled causing them to be tangled, disarrayed or just plain messed-up. The last three orders have had multiple hanks that were obviously, hastily and haphazardly crammed into my shipping box. Once I've wound it into a cake, it's a dream to work with!!!
I love Malibrigo Rios yarn! It knits up so nicely and the colors are lovely. I use it often and always with stellar results! Our grandkids love their “cousin” sweaters.
