The yarn is quite beautiful and will make a gorgeous scarf. I haven't started to weave it yet as I have something already on my loom that I have to finish first.

Nice result, but the warping plan is wrong

Comments about MANGO MOON Ladies Who Lunch Woven Scarf Kit:

This is currently on my loom and it looks like it's going to be gorgeous. It's weaving up fast which is nice.

However, I struggled a lot with getting it set up. Since I don't have a warping board, I used the direct method of warping going by the number of ends in the warping plan at the bottom of the instructions (there's an even number so that was ok for direct warping). I started to move the threads to go by the warping plan but I came up short 3 ends and couldn't figure out what happened. After staring at the warping plan, using a calculator to make sure I was doing the math right, it never came up correct. I ended up just adding 3 more ends of the Capra. After I started weaving, I got curious and figured out that the plan came originally from "Woven Scarves: 26 Inspired Designs for the Rigid Heddle Loom" and purchased the electronic version. The warping plans don't match. It turns out that the start of the repeat should be on the second column, not the very first column. I've only been weaving for 6 months, so as a beginner, this was frustrating. Oh, and also, DO NOT LET PARADE GET TANGLED. It's a beautiful thread but I must have pulled from the wrong direction and it became a nightmare to untangle. I figured that I probably shouldn't carry Parade along the selvedge, and ended up untangling about half the hank and using that.

If it weren't for the mistake in printing on the warping plan, I would give this 5 stars.
