Inspired by a volcanic region, shades of molten gold and stone gray give Melanie Berg’s Eifelgold its name. In this design, sections of garter stitch mix with a striking mosaic pattern that is much easier to knit than it appears, since only one color is used at a time. To knit this asymmetrical triangular shawl, choose two luminous shades of a sport weight yarn. The mosaic pattern is in chart form only.
