Melanie Berg Loreley is a gorgeous women’s shawl named for the murmuring of the river, the Loreley rock on the Rhine shore is said to be home to a beautiful siren whose song distracts sailors causes them to crash on the rocks below. The triangular wrap is knit flat from the bottom up in a lovely lace pattern. Stitches are picked up along both lower edges, and a garter stitch border is added in a second color. The lace patterns are charted and written out.
