Product Details
Sokol is the Russian word for "hawk", and knowing this, it's not
difficult to imagine where this pattern name comes from.
Falconers need to protect their arms and hands, so they need long
mitts, padded with an extra layer of fabric. Melanie Berg’s Sokol is knit
in the round from the bottom up. The main part of the mitts is knit
in plain stockinette, with just a few rounds of ribbing along the
edges.
