There are days; you just want to wrap yourself in something that makes
you smile. Zagtastic from Melanie Berg can be than shawl! This lovely accessory
has playful zigzags that run the length of this elongated semi-circular piece,
done in an easy-to-knit mosaic pattern that looks much more complicated than it
is. Zagtastic is knit flat in one piece seamlessly from the top down. The
mosaic pattern is charted and written out.
Finished Measurements: 110” wingspan and 19½” deep
Yarn Requirements:
Color A – 471 yards of worsted weight yarn such as Malabrigo Rios (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/210yds)
Color B – 388 yards of worsted weight yarn such as Malabrigo Rios (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/210yds)
Kid Mohair Yarn – 591 yards of kid mohair & silk yarn such as Valley Yarns Southampton (72% Kid Mohair/ 28% Mulberry Silk; 25g/230yds)
Needles: US 6 (4.00mm) circular
Gauge: 14 sts and 28 rows = 4” in garter stitch, blocked
