So beautiful and soft.

The yarn has a glorious halo and any yarn with a halo is time consuming to frog.

I bought this yarn to knit sweaters for my daughters. It looks lovely and feels very nice, but it is hard to knit with. The yarn is very fuzzy and catches on itself when knitting, so it's absolutely IMPOSSIBLE TO UNRAVEL to fix mistakes.
Also, there's no stretch with this thread which makes the knitting go slower for me. I'm also predicting a lot of pilling with wear.
So no, I woudn't recommend this yarn and probably wouldn't be buying this in the future.

I've knit hats, mittens, and Aran-patterned triangle shawls using Baby Alpaca Brush. It has the most marvelous hand, and people love garments made of it, because it's divinely soft. You can nestle into it.

Comments about 7.99 Baby Alpaca Brush:

Very nice, soft yarn with lots of drape. The recommended needle size is too large though- this is closer to a worsted weight yarn. Also, a test swatch I did felted and shrunk quite a bit with hot water and agitation.

I made a lace cape for my niece, I needed something that would knit up quickly, have a beautiful drape and be warm and soft. This yarn was amazing and I loved the result so much that I have made one for myself and am in the process of knitting another for my sister in law. I love love how quick it knits up and the feel of it while I'm knitting!

Comments about 7.99 Baby Alpaca Brush:

I used this yarn to knit a lace jacket. It was a very quick knit. Yarn is very soft and has blocked well. It behaved a bit like mohair as it could snag a little when knitting. Don't know how well it will wear in the long run, we'll have to wait and see.
