Comments about 7.99 Linen:

Wet finishing and blocking turned my slightly crinkled swatch into a smooth, drapey piece of loveliness. And the color -just yummy.

    Really Really nice linen

    Comments about 7.99 Linen:

I've used Euroflax linen for several decades, but the cost is pretty high. I'd watch for sales - but this yarn is just as nice and of very good quality. My LYS carries it but in very limited colors & quantities. I'm grateful Webs has such a nice selection.

    Pros

    • Nice color, good quality, becomes soft with wash

    Cons

    • A bit splitty, feels stiff while knitting

    Best Uses

    • Sweaters, shawls, tops

    Comments about 7.99 Linen:

I made a lightweight, 3/4-length sleeve cardigan with this yarn. While it was a little stiff and difficult to knit with, the finished product (after washing) is wonderful and I adore it! Beautiful drape. I ordered more of this yarn to make it in another color.

    Cons

    • Tiny Bit 'splitty'

      Comments about 7.99 Linen:

Be sure to knit a large tension swatch and wash it as you intend to wash the sweater. I had significant horizontal shrinkage when I did this.
