Axis Shawl PDF
The Axis Shawl from Swans Island is a triangular shawl knit side-to-side on the bias. The shawl is worked in two colors in plain and stripe garter stitch with a slip stitch pattern for added textural interest. The shawl is big enough to cover shoulders, yet not too bulky to be used instead of a scarf. Axis’s modern design makes it a very versatile piece perfect for all seasons. This pattern has been designed for all skill levels and it can be easily followed even by a novice knitter. This project calls for only one skein each in two colors of Swans Island’s beautiful fingering weight yarn.
