The Brianna Cabled Cloak from Tamara
Moots is a simple top-down seamless hooded cloak with three cables. One larger
cable panel runs the entire length of the back and two smaller cables run
just inside the front edging. The edge dips downward at the back to form a
high low hem that adds length while conserving yarn. The cable patterns
are charted and written out.
Sizes: One Size – fit most about 56” around
Finished Measurements: 30” length in front and 34” length in back, from
cast on to bind off
Yarn Requirements: 12 balls of Valley Yarns Northfield (70%
Merino Wool/ 20% Baby Alpaca/ 10% Silk; 50g/124yds) or 1430 yards of worsted
weight yarn.
Needles:
US 5 (3.75mm) 32” circular and DPNs
US 7 (4.50mm) 32” circular
Gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch,
after blocking
