Tin Can Knits Oaken is a sweet and satisfying

Oaken is a blanket or a big cozy shawl knit in a worsted/Aran weight yarn with
garter stitch and ends with a dose of rhythmic lace to keep things interesting.
The lace pattern is charted and written out.
Finished Measurements:
Shawl – 68” wingspan ad 28” deep
Blanket – 35½” wide and 43” long
Yarn Requirements: Worsted weight yarn such as Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok 50 (100% Fine Highland Wool; 50g/123yds)
Shawl – 620 yards in a single color or 350 yards in each of MC and CC to work in two colors
Blanket – 500 yards of MC and 390 yards of CC as shown or 850 yards if working in a single color
Needles:
Shawl – US 9 (5.50mm) 48” circular
Blanket – US 9 (5.50mm) two 48” circular
Gauge: 13 sts and 28 rows = 4” in garter stitch, after blocking
