Sheds while you crochet
I am using this yarn form an afghan for my 8 yr old grandson it is soft and easy to work with my only concern is it is a loose yarn and may have loose fibers and pilling … Linda
Very soft but too splitty. Just really, really splitty. Is difficult to work with for new knitters.
I purchased this to make a super bulky sweater and since I wasn't sure I would love the results, I deliberately chose it because it was a less expensive acrylic yarn. I must preface this by saying I generally don't like acrylic yarns, but loved working with this. Smooth, almost silky, it worked up beautifully and had great stitch definition. Sadly, it is now discontinued, so I took the opportunity to buy several colors that were still available on close out. I haven't tried the other weights of this yarn, but they do make several and I would happily return to this for blankets or other home furnishing type items, or for children's clothing items that need to be washed and wear. I haven't yet washed my sweater, but many multiple other reviews say this yarn doesn't pill, which would be amazing.
This holds up great, knits up fast, and is very soft for an acrylic!
