Some of the best hikes are taken up in the mountains on invigorating
autumn days. As you meander towards your view of fiery autumn foliage, there is
a cool gust in the air—just enough to make you grab the Universal Yarn Woodlawn
Hat. Comfy, textured, and lightweight, the Woodlawn hat is perfect for those
beautiful days on the trail. The
hat is knit in the round from the bottom up. Kingston Tweed from Fibra Natura
is a lightweight yarn dyed in muted shades inspired by nature. Kingston Tweed
is a springy 2-ply with excellent stitch definition that is perfect for textured
projects and colorwork. The cable patterns are charted and written out.
Sizes: Adult S/M (Adult M/L)
Finished Measurements:
Brim Circumference – 18 (21)” stretches to fit approximately 23 (26)”
Length – 10½ (11¼)” with the brim uncuffed
Yarn Requirements: 1 (2) hanks Fibra Natura Kingston Tweed (50% Wool/ 25% Alpaca/ 25% Mixed Fibers; 50g/194yds) shown in 108 Amethyst (WEBS do not carry this color) – Note: Ensure your gauge is accurate to prevent running out of yarn. Alternatively, you may wish to purchase an additional hank of yarn.
