Product Details

Valley Yarns Hereford is a lovely women’s layering piece that reminisces the fun fashions of the ‘60s knit in Westfield. This cardigan features a slip-stitch Thorn pattern on the fronts only, making this a little retro, a little modern, and a lot of fun with contrast color ribbing along the neck, cuffs, hems, and pocket edge. Hereford is knit flat in pieces from the bottom up, and then the shoulders are seamed. The sleeve stitches are picked up along the armhole edging, and worked in the round to the cuffs. Valley Yarns Westfield is a luxurious blend of Merino, silk, and yak in a versatile DK weight. Each of the fibers in Westfield takes the dye slightly differently, resulting in beautifully nuanced shades that will add depth to your projects. The Thorn stitch pattern is charted and written out.
