I use this yarn for throws. Works well, good stitch definition.
While it's not the best yarn ever spun, Valley Yarns Northampton is a perfectly good workhorse yarn at an excellent price point. I purchase a lot of it for gifts and larger projects to keep costs under control. There are many colorways to choose from, some pretty unique (not sure I've ever seen another yarn that is quite like Twilight Heather.)
This is a great all-around wool yarn. Very soft and easy to handle. Have knitted hat and sweater from it. Would like to see more heathers, especially in red palette.
The yarn is a good, sturdy wool that is easy to use and has a great color selection.
Great worsted weight wool yarn. I have knitted this at 4.5 as well as 5 stitches per inch and it works up beautifully in either gauge. Soft and warm, I have made Lopi multi color sweater patterns with this and I am very pleased with the colors and weight. Also knitted Yankee Knitter roll neck sweaters with this. Came out great. Highly recommend! 👍

Great yarn for knitting convertible gloves. A softer yarn would not work.
