Woven using 3/2 cotton yarn…..
I'm using it for filling the gaps of low stock for my studio. I'm using it for placemats. When setting up my studio, I slowly added all colors available of your 3/2 cotton and fill in as needed when cones get low.

I'm using it for weaving 2 table runners, one for my long-time friend. I am weaving rep weave, and the 3/2 as warp sett at 24 epi works great. I am using 2 strands of 16/8 cotton for the thick pick and 1 strand of 5/2 cotton for the thin pick in the weft.
I love Valley Yarns 3/2 cotton. I’ve woven many things with it, from shawls to bedspreads.
My latest 3/2 yarn project was M's and O's design placemats. This yarn is my go-to for many of my weaving projects. It's very versatile. It stands up to repeated washing without shrinkage or the color fading.
I have VYV 3/2 cotton for over ten years. I use it for runners and placemats. I have also used it for Rep Weave, all without any problems. I have used other options if VY does not have a color I'm looking for. VY is just a slight thicker, but not a noticeable difference. I just like it!
I like the nice yarn and fast delivery time. I'm using it for runners and napkins for a fall festival in October. I like the tan, cranberry, browns, and black with white. October and black with white are just a few of the colors.
It weaves up beautifully for twill baby blankets.
I loved the weight of the 3/2 cotton yarn. It was easy to dress the loom and keep an even tension. I doubled the same yarn for the weft in a set of towels. Used a straight twill draw on eight harnesses. Treadles tied for braided twill pattern. Fast weaving for a heavier hand towel than using 8/2 for a dish towel. Have not hemmed or washed them yet, looking forward to seeing the finished result.
I love the vivid color. I'm using it for turquoise, lime, and purple towels. I combine the colors.
So glad that Webs finally has this yarn back in stock. It is the best cotton yarn for weaving hand towels and for using as a warp for rag placemats and table runners.
