Versaciknits’ Carnaby Street has a relaxed, retro feel. It’s made interesting—both to look at and to knit—by the reverse colorwork and an illusion of shaping. Loose-fitting, it’s comfortable to wear with ample positive ease at the bust, and it pairs equally well with jeans or a skirt. Opposing colored stripes form a v-shaped panel and vents in the front of the sweater add an interesting visual element to a relatively straightforward pullover. It’s knit in separate pieces, and the intarsia method is used when changing colors for the front striping. The shoulders are joined, the sleeves set in, and the neckband is finished. Carnaby Street can be knit in different palates to accommodate any age.
