Crochet a flurry of snowflakes to complement the rest of your handmade holidays. These pretty motifs are a way to show off your crochet skills with a versatile project that can be made quickly in yarn of almost any weight. Join your snowflakes to make a lovely garland or scarf, or use them singly to enhance a gift to a special friend. With worsted weight yarn, students will practice the three snowflake patterns, none more than 4 rounds, and then go on to experiment with different yarn weights (the instructor will provide samples). For best results, students should have had prior experience in making granny squares or other motifs, such as those covered in Crochet II.
