Haven't used this yet but it is already balled (woohhoooo!!!) and doesn't need to be wound and in my book that gives it a "3-star rating" (I hate winding those expensive yarns, for as much as you pay for them, why aren't they ALREADY balled???? Am I the only one who notices something wrong with that symmetry?). I can't wait to use this as it is soft right out of the package and the color is beautiful and rich (I purchased enough pink AND brown skeins to make 2 sweaters)!

If you're expecting a DK weight yarn, this is NOT it. This is essentially a worsted weight yarn, just a hair under. Just have no expectations that it will act like a lightweight yarn. Otherwise, this is a good-value wood blend yarn of average quality. It's not soft against the skin, so I wouldn't recommend it for garments.

Great Colours - Poor Winding

Comments about WILDWOOD YARNS Webster:

The yarn is wonderful but very poorly wound. You can't center pull the yarn without half of it coming out in a huge knotted mess. I've had to untangle and re-wind every skein I've tried to use to far. This applies to all the colours I purchased in this order.

I made a poncho, would use on many projects. Yarn is easy to with, no spliting or tangles.

Comments about WILDWOOD YARNS Webster:

I used this for a baby blanket which was a combination of machine and hand knitting. This is a strong, nicely manufactured yarn. Since I did not want to give a new mother a hand-wash wool blanket I went with this blend which has a nice soft hand for a wool/acrylic blend.

I wasn't crazy about how this turned out so I gave it to another Marcher as I had 3 others that I had made with other yarn that I like better
