Ysolda’s Liesl is a round-yoked cardigan worked from the neck down in a simple all over feather and fan lace pattern. Different effects can be achieved by using a variety of yarns in worsted to chunky weights and lots of options are given so that you can make Liesl your own by varying the neckline depth, body and sleeve lengths, and cast off method. Fasten your finished cardigan with any number of buttons, a ribbon bow or perhaps a special pin. Lace pattern is both charted and written out.

Yarn Requirements: Approximately 335 (375, 435, 475, 610, 655, 730) yds Worsted to Chunky weight yarn with a recommended gauge of 18-14 sts = 4” such as Malabrigo Worsted (100% Merino Wool; 100g/210yds)
The exact amount of yarn required will depend on the options you choose and the length you knit. Amounts listed correspond to green sample pictured.
Needles: 7.00mm (US 10¾) 24” or longer circular and DPNs (for sleeved version)
Gauge: 13 sts and 17 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch
