Product Details

Do you have a rigid heddle loom and are tired of making scarves? Would you like to try some new techniques without committing to a whole big project? This is a new workshop to discover a smorgasbord of different techniques in a small format, ( 6” x 6”) such as Houndstooth, Clasped Weft, Log Cabin, Danish Medallions, as well as pick up stick patterns (Waffle Weave, Pinwheel weaving, Supplementary Floats, Leno Lace, etc.). The finished pieces may be used for coasters or hot mats and make great gifts! Students get to dive into their stash for the materials for this class or purchase a few balls of dk weight yarn in contrasting colors. Students will bring their own looms to class and must be able to thread them independently. This is an advanced beginner class, not a refresher course.

For the comfort and safety of our students and teachers, students may be asked to wear a mask during in person classes and workshops, and masks are available upon request.

Prerequisite: Students will bring their own looms to class and must be able to thread them independently. This is an advanced beginner class, not a refresher course.
