Version 1 – 440 yards total of fingering weight yarn held double in 6 colors, 74 yds each, such as Costal Yarns Tidal Waves (WEBS do not carry this yarn)
Version 2 – 440 yards of fingering weight yarn held double such as Hedgehog Fibres Sock (90% Superwash Merino Wool/ 10% Nylon; 100g/437yds) or 230 yards of DK weight yarn
Needles: US 7 (4.50mm)
Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch with fingering weight yarn held double or one strand of DK weight yarn
