Hats off to color play! Two high contrast colors created Checked Out Hat
from Adventure Du Jour, with a fun checkerboard motif, which then decreases in
size with each section. Checked Out Hat is the perfect project for those single
skeins that you have collected impulsively. The hat is knit in the round from
the brim to the crown. The checkered patterns are in written form only.
Sizes: One Size to fit an average adult head
Finished Measurements: 21” circumference
Yarn Requirements: 170 yards each of two colors of fingering weight yarn such as Valley Yarns Huntington (75% Superwash Merino Wool/ 25% Nylon)
Needles: US 3 (3.25mm) 16” circular and DPNs
Gauge: 26 sts and 32 rows = 4” in colorwork pattern
