If the shoulders fit, the sleeves don’t. If the sleeves fit, the bust doesn’t. These are common fit issues in our sweaters. Let’s fix them!

Working with four basic sweater constructions, we will look at how each is constructed and how to change any armhole and any sleeve cap to better fit your body.

Session 1: An overview of sleeves and armholes

sleeve construction for set-in, raglan, drop shoulder, and circular yoke sweaters

sleeve cap construction (set-in and raglan sleeves)

the relationship between sleeve cap and armhole - the secret to excellent fit!

Session 2: Fixing sleeve fit

Fixing armhole depth

Fixing sleeve cap height

Fixing sleeve circumference

Session 3: Building it up!

mastering the math of diagonals (or making the sleeve cap match the armhole!)

building a visual armhole/sleeve cap map.

You will receive the Zoom link 1-2 business days before the virtual class.
