Andrea Rangel Build is a textured shawl that starts at
the narrow end of the ribbing gradually divides and expands, one rib flowing into
the next, resulting in boldly geometric lines evocative of wood grain. Have fun
choosing colors for this must-have wrap. The garter border is charted and
written out.
Finished Measurements: 68” long from point to point and 30” wide at the widest point
Yarn Requirements: Aram or worsted weight yarn such as Malabrigo Rios (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/210yds)
Color A – 165 yards
Color B – 150 yards
Color C – 200 yards
Color D – 200 yards
Needles: US 8 (5.00mm) 24–32” circular
Gauge: 20 sts and 24 rows = 4” in k2, p2 rib pattern, after blocking
