I called to talk to the employees before I ordered, as I had never knitted with Alpaca yarn, then when I got the yarn it was in Hanks and Skeins is all I had used, they were very helpful to me with both concerns. When I got the yarn, it was beautiful and was shipped to me in a timely manner. I am making my oldest Grandson a blanket and it works up very easily and beautiful! The only down side I have is I bought it on their anniversary sale and was happy about that as I needed 17 Hanks, but the day after I received the yarn, I also got an email offering the very same yarn and sale that for every 4 bought get 1 free! This would have helped my cost tremendous. I actually thought they should honor that sale but they didn’t, so I’m knitting away on my beautiful blanket!
I ordered some yarn to complete a sweater. I love working with this yarn. I'm doing a Fisherman's pattern and it holds the definition of the stitches very well. The dye lot was not the same, however the color is extremely close and I know it will work out well.
Love the texture and feel of the yarn as I knit it. I am not finished with the garment yet.

I use Berroco Ultra Alpaca for sweaters. It’s soft enough to wear right next to my skin, and it comes in many, many colors. I especially like it for stranded yoke sweaters.
I have crocheted over two dozen blankets with this yarn. Although over time they may pill, they never lose their appeal. The wool is soft, warm, and cuddly. What could be better? And I love the available color pallet.
It’s a good yarn, soft and pretty colors.
I've used this yarn in many sweaters and love it for its drape and its light weight without sacrificing warmth. Love the heathered colors too. Yarn is smooth to knit with and rarely has knots.
