Bristol Ivy Switchgrass Hat is a knitting pattern for a top-down slouchy beanie with lace that twists and wends like grasses in the breeze. This beautiful lacy hat is knit in a DK weight yarn in the round from the crown out to the brim. The lace patterns are charted and written out.
Sizes: One Size – to fit heads 18–25” in circumference
Finished Measurements:
Circumference at Widest Point – 25½”
Circumference at Brim – 18”
Length – 9¾”
Yarn Requirements: 300 yards of DK weight yarn such as Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool (45% Wool/ 35% Silk/ 20% Nylon; 50g/190yds)
Needles: US 5 (3.75mm) 16” circular and DPNs to get gauge
Gauge: 20 sts and 36 rnds = 4” in body pattern, after gentle blocking
