I don't often use larger gauge wool, but this is my go-to yarn when I'm making something heftier. Excellent and consistent quality with a wide range of colors.

This yarn is a work horse not only is it soft for 100 % wool it has beautiful stitch definition. There are many color choices from natural to dyed . ECO WOOL is hands down one of my favorite yarns , its lusted as bulky but works up well for patterns that call for heavy worsted or Aran . I would highly recomend to anyone for sweaters , hats ,mittens slippers and blankets .

The yarn is very good quality and I like how it's made without using dyes. If I were to work on another big project I'll make sure to choose this specific yarn again.

Yarn is too thin and colors do not provide adequate contrast

Jennifer H 11/16/2023

I bought the yarn because it has several complimentary colors. I needed to hold 2 strands together for the pattern. I found the yarn too thin to be considered a true bulky weight yarn I was firced to hold 3 strands together (4 would have been better) and reduce the needle size from 17 to 15. To really make the yarn work I should have reduced the needle size to 13. I liked the large amount of yardage in each skein and the fact that it's all undyed . If the weight doesn't matter for your project and you like the idea of natural undyed yarn, it is fine. But I would definitely have opted for something else had I realized how thin the yarn is. Id guess it was a worsted weight at best.

Used Ecological wool for a capelet. Beautiful colors but it wasn't quite enough for the project so I had to order another skein.
