Love the yarn and have already purchased more. It’s super soft, price can’t be beat, great colors, joy to knit with. As with any super soft yarn-it PILLS. It started pilling while I was knitting, and knew it was going to be a thing. However…it also created a nice low key fuzz halo (the parts that aren’t pilled), kind of reminiscent of mohair. The pills are easy enough to pick or shave off, and the end product is otherwise lovely.
Cascade Heritage wool ********* weight sock yarn is a very nice yarn for stranded colorwork socks and hats. I like the color selection. I have also wound up hanks into balls and run heritage wool through my brother standard gauge knitting machine and it plays nice there too when you cant find an appropriate weight yarn on a cone. Webs delivers so quickly and has great volume discount.
I purchased several skeins of Cascade Heritage yarn in superwash/nylon to round out my collection of sock yarns in preparation for Ravelry's annual sock knitting contest, Sock Madness. They're all ready and waiting for the contest. Since I've used Heritage in the past, I know that it will make lovely socks.
I LOVE Heritage yarn - it's soft, inexpensive, washes well, doesn't split and just always knits up into a lovely fabric. I've used pretty much every type of Cascade Heritage yarn and it's all as lovely as the next, whether it's straight merino, superwash/nylon, superwash/silk....no matter what, you can depend on having a nice quality fabric in the end.
the yarns are nice, but entirely took too long to be delivered.
Beautiful colors, smooth texture, great yardage. Would definitely recommend this yarn and will use again.
Affordable yarn that works up nicely. Wide selection of colors. Highly recommend!
Yarn is excellent, just a bit thinner then I expected. But, I have another project for it and it works up beautifully.
Beautiful yarn, no pilling, no knots, rich color
I needed white for my project and Webs had the 2 skeins I wanted. Cascade Heritage is my go-to sock yarn.
