The Sturbridge Mittens from ChickenBetty are inspired by chilly autumn walks and the natural beauty on the grounds of Old Sturbridge Village. The mittens have a utilitarian shape with simple embellishment that can be easily tailored to your perfect color palette. The band of colorwork can be worked as you knit or added with duplicate stitch when the knitting is done. Sturbridge Mittens are knit in the round from the cuff to the fingers with an afterthought thumb and an optional band of colorwork at the wrist. Colorwork pattern is charted only.
