Curious Handmade’s Bide is a fabulous shawl using bulky yarn with simple
texture and eyelet row that is sure to be a quick knit using The Fibre Co.
Tundra. This triangular shawl is finished with a smart garter border and
playful tassels. Bide comes in two sizes, and the pattern is definitely adaptable.
It makes an excellent gift at it’s realistic even as a last-minute gift, yet significant
enough to make quite the impression. Or make it for yourself, for those cozy
moments biding by the fire. Tundra is an incredibly soft, bulky weight alpaca
blend in dazzling colors. The alpaca keeps Tundra warm, merino wool adds
resiliency, and a touch of silk gives sheen and a hint of drape to the finished
fabric. This gorgeous addition to the Fibre Company’s line of yarns has two plies
and a slight halo effect.
