Bear Necessities Set from Debbie Bliss is a fabulous and adorable baby layette that includes a blanket, baseball jacket, or pullover with a bear motif, a hat, and a crocheted teddy bear. This set is perfect for a day out at a game! The sweaters and hat are knit flat from the bottom up and then seamed. The blanket is worked from the bottom up seamlessly. The crochet teddy is worked in the round and then seamed. This soft blend from Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino is perfect for baby and children’s items or anything where you want blissfully soft fabric against the skin. The bear motifs, cable, and stitch patterns are in chart form only.

I am currently working on the Teddy Bear blanket and the pattern instructions are an easy read. Some of the stitches I hadn’t done before sure so I practiced on scrap yarn. I am not even halfway finished but I already know it will look amazing once it’s finished I shed and blocked!
