Designs by Romi Diane is designed using the traditional Feather and Fan pattern in a slightly quirky way. Designed in a series of wedges, this shawl's shaping fits perfectly into the stitch pattern so that the wedges ripple beautifully like waves along the sea strand.
Sizes: One Size; easily enlarged by working extra wedges
Finished Measurements: 78” wide tip to tip and 11” deep after blocking
Yarn Requirements: 400 yards of fingering weight yarn such as
Valley Yarns Charlemont (60% Fine Superwash Merino Wool/ 20% Silk/ 20% Polyamide; 100g/439yds)
Needles: US 4 (3.50mm) circular
Gauge: 24 sts and 22 rows = 4” in chart stitch pattern after blocking
