Designs by Romi Merope PDF

The Merope shawl from Designs by Romi is inspired by the youngest of The Pleiades (Seven Sisters). This pattern includes two different choices, one with a stockinette stitch base and another with stretches of garter stitch. Bot are knitted from the bottom tip—including the edging—and bound off along the top of the triangle. The lace pattern is charted and written out.

   US 4 (3.50mm) 
   US 7 (4.50mm) for garter st version bind off
Gauge: 16 sts and 32 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch after blocking
