cozy, and elegantly simple is how Rapport from E. Elliott Knits is described. This
lovely wrap is comfort knitting with a dramatic result. The design is
entirely reversible and symmetrical, so it looks good however you wear it.
The wrap is available in three widths, and the length is easily adjustable to
suit your taste. This lovely piece is knit from end to end seamlessly. The textured
pattern is charted and written out.
Sizes: Scarf (Narrow Shawl, Full-Size Shawl)
Finished Measurements: 13¼ (18, 23)” wide and 78½” long
Yarn Requirements:
990 (1320, 1650) yards of kid mohair type yarn such as Valley Yarns Southampton (72% Kid Mohair/ 28% Mulberry Silk; 25g/230yds)
990 (1320, 1650) yards of fingering weight yarn such as Malabrigo Mechita (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/420yds)
Needles: US 7 (4.50mm) 14” single points or 20” (24” or longer for shawls) circular
Gauge: 23 sts and 29 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch with a strand of each yarn held together, worked flat, and blocked
