Fiber Dreams’ Merced has an understated stitch
pattern that is equally nice for men’s and women’s sock. Sock size can be
easily modified by varying the yarn and needle size, using one of the three
sizes provided. Be sure to check out the coordinating mitts pattern, Tenaya. The stitch pattern is charted and written
out.

Yarn Requirements: Approximately 400–500 yards of fingering
or sock weight yarn such as Valley Yarns Huntington (75% Superwash Merino Wool/ 25% Nylon; 50g/218yds)
Needles: US 1 (2.25mm)
