Named in honor of Oscar Wilde’s character in The Importance of Being
Earnest, Algernon by Fiber Dreams is a pair of intricately cabled socks. With a
complex cable winding up the front of the sock, the back and sides feature
simpler cables that still pack a visual punch. With a classic cuff-down
construction, Algernon has a heel flap and gusset that make for a good fit and
let the cables be the star of the show. The cable patterns are in chart
form only.
Skill Level: Intermediate

Yarn Requirements: 400 yards of fingering weight sock yarn such as Valley Yarns Huntington (75% Superwash Merino Wool/ 25% Nylon; 50g/218yds)
Needles: US 1 (2.25mm)
