Birdsfoot Fern from Fiber Dreams
is a crescent-shaped scarf that features a strikingly beautiful fern-like lace panel
that runs along the bottom edge. The lace panel is completed first and then
stitches are picked up along one edge in order to work the main body of the
scarf. The crescent shape is created through the use of short rows in the main
body. The lace pattern is charted and written out.
