Fiber Dreams Through the Grapevine is a reminiscence of a song everyone knows “I Heard it through the Grapevine” which was sung by more artists than you realize. Anyway, this lovely shawl has super-easy lace rows that are alternated with plain old garter stitch, and with stripes where the colors meet. The math for two sizes is done for you as it takes the same amount of yarn. The first is longer but narrower and the second is shorter but wider.
Skill Level: Easy
Finished Measurements: 20½” wide and 90¾” long (25” wide and 78¼” long)
Yarn Requirements: 1200 yards of fingering weight yarn such as Malabrigo Sock (100% Superwash Merino; 100g/440yds) – need three colors of 400 yards of each color
Needles: US 5 (3.75mm)
Gauge: 19 sts = 4” while knitting and 16 sts = 4” after blocking
