First Cardigan with Set-In Sleeves S2 - V- Spring/Summer 2026

*This class fulfills the First Cardigan with Set-In Sleeves Requirement for WEKP.

If you're ready to move beyond the world of scarves to the world of sweaters, this is the class for you. You'll make a basic, worsted-weight cardigan with set-in sleeves, classic and wearable. We will discuss choosing a size, gauge swatching, all aspects of shaping, how to finish your sweater using horizontal to horizontal, vertical to vertical, and horizontal to vertical seaming techniques, how to do a clean button-band pick-up, one-row button holes, how to add pockets, and how to fit a sleeve into a shoulder.

You will receive the Zoom link 1-2 business days before the virtual class.

Format: Virtual

Prerequisite: Knitting II, or equivalent.

All other materials will be discussed at the first class!

HOMEWORK:

There will be weekly homework assignments.

Cancellation Policy: For all classes, payment of full tuition is due at time of registration. Tuition will be refunded only if the class is cancelled by WEBS, or if there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.
