Product Details
The Asali Shawl from Freia Fine Handpaints is a gorgeous two-color project that features a hexagonal, honeycomb-inspired slip-stitch motif. Two colorways of Superwash Worsted dyed in stunning ombré fade colorways work together to create a beautiful finished shawl that is warm and soft due to the Merino wool base yarn. This project is cleverly designed to maximize the yarn in in two cakes, and the number of repeats for the slipped-stitch pattern and the ribbing can be easily adjusted to use all of the yarn you have. Asali Shawl is knit flat in one piece, beginning at one point of its triangular shape and growing with increases along one edge. When this section is complete, stitches are picked up along the edge and worked in ribbing to provide a neat frame to your shawl. Have a colorful and cozy statement shawl on hand that's perfectly customized to you with the Asali Shawl!
