Comments about G. ANDERSSONS Bobbin Winder:

You all seem so happy - It's been making metal dust all along and now the teeth are so worn I need a new one. Is there some kind of maintenance I need to do on the next one to prevent the breakdown?

This makes winding shuttle bobbins so quick; much faster than winding by hand.

Comments about G. ANDERSSONS Bobbin Winder:

I do not buy anything without researching first. I considered some of the electric winders as cost was not a factor. One of my weaving friends has one of these and loves it, now I do also. I use it to wind yarn directly off my spinning wheel onto a plastic bobbin. It has a highly adjustabe vice grip to fit anthing from your kitchen counter to a windowsill. The movement is fluid, a few drops of oil on the gears every now and then and I suspect I will be using it for years to come. Plus, if the power goes out, it will still work...lol

Comments about G. ANDERSSONS Bobbin Winder:

Very well made and easy to use. My friend works with metals and castings and says this is a well made product. When it comes to metal items, I believe everything he says. Would definitely recomment.
