Granny Square - V - Fall 2025

A granny square is like a plain sheet of paper. Sure, it comes in different colors, textures, sizes and weights however in and of itself, it’s not very exciting until you use it as an integral part of your creative process.  During our two hour class we will explore the basic structure of a granny square as we make one traditional style square to warm up to the concept.
Our second square will not be a square at all, we’ll step it up as a more interesting polygon. You will leave the class with a new respect for the humble Granny square and how to bring it to life in your crochet journey whether your goal is to make a blanket, hexagon cardigan or emotional support crochet chicken, we'll get you started on your granny square journey.

You will receive the Zoom link 1-2 business days before the virtual class.

Format: Virtual

Prerequisite: Ability to chain, double crochet, knowledge of how to count stitches
Materials Required:

US F hook, dk weight cotton of a single color approximately 50 g- one skein,

tapestry needle, ruler, two locking stitch markers

Cancellation Policy: For all classes, payment of full tuition is due at time of registration. Tuition will be refunded only if the class is cancelled by WEBS, or if there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.
