Granny Stitch - V - Summer 2025

A granny square is like a plain sheet of paper. Sure, it comes in different colors, textures, sizes and weights however in and of itself, it’s not very exciting until you use it as an integral part of your creative process.  During our two hour class we will explore the basic structure of a granny stitch as we make one traditional style square to warm up to the concept. Our second will not be a square at all, we’ll start our first granny stitch project together, a triangular shawl.

You will receive the Zoom link 1-2 business days before the virtual class.

Format: Virtual

Prerequisite: ability to make a chain stitch, double crochet and count stitches

Materials Required:

US H Hook, worsted weight yarn in a light color, six stitch markers, ruler, scissors, tapestry needle

Cancellation Policy: For all classes, payment of full tuition is due at time of registration. Tuition will be refunded only if the class is cancelled by WEBS, or if there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.
