This light summer top skims the body with A-line shaping on the body and sleeves. The sweater has a V-neck, set in sleeves, and a garter stitch band at the empire waist that separates the stockinette stitch bodice from the lace enhanced body. I used a cotton/tencel blend yarn, but any soft cotton or blend of cotton, bamboo or tencel will work just as well! This is a perfect project for beginning lace knitters – the lace pattern is easy to learn, and the shaping is confined to the stockinette stitch sections.
