Inspiration comes from many places – this throw is loosely based on an openwork cement support I saw holding up a friend’s front porch. While I chose a warm color palette and decided to orient each block the same way, you can go crazy with your own color selections, or orient the blocks differently to create pools of color. You can even hit the stash and use up all your scraps for the interior colors as long as you use one neutral color for the framework to hold it all together visually.
