*This class fulfills the Non-Knitting Elective / Wild Card Elective Requirement for WEKP.
Have you been curious about weaving but feel intimidated by all the moving parts? Or maybe you’ve wanted to try it but haven’t found the time? Perhaps you’re interested but unsure if you’ll enjoy it, or you’ve looked into classes that seem expensive or require a big commitment.
If any of this sounds familiar, this one-day workshop is perfect for you! You’ll learn the fundamentals of weaving on a simple loom and leave the class with a finished scarf — all in a single day. No experience is required, and the instructor will share years of tips and tricks to help your first project succeed.
Tuition includes the use of a loom, so you don’t need to own one — making it easy to jump right in and try weaving for yourself!
For the comfort and safety of our students and teachers, students may be asked to wear a mask during in person classes and workshops, and masks are available upon request.
