Introduction to Rigid Heddle Flip Loom Weaving, Section 1 - Summer 2024

This all day class is perfect for students who are interested in weaving, but have never tried it and would like to be shown hands on how to start this craft. Students will make a scarf in class. Class fee includes the use of the loom and weaving supplies, which are set up for them prior to class. Class hand outs are given to each student. No experience is required. NOTE: This class includes a lunch break. Please bring your own lunch!

For the comfort and safety of our students and teachers, students may be asked to wear a mask during in person classes and workshops, and masks are available upon request.

Materials Required:

One ball of Universal Bamboo Pop OR one ball of Berroco Summer Sesame OR one ball of Berroco Medina.

sharp scissors

craft paper or two paper grocery bags with the bottom cut off prior to class

note taking materials and/or camera. Please bring your lunch.

When possible, please buy your materials from WEBS.

Cancellation Policy: For all classes, payment of full tuition is due at time of registration. Tuition will be refunded only if the class is cancelled by WEBS, or if there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.
