Cable
& Lace Beret from Jen Hagan Design is a lovely women’s accessory knit from
the top down in a fingering weight yarn. The beret is made with four sections
of stockinette stitch graced with two different cables and a lace increase line
for just the texture's right touch. The cable and brim decrease patterns
are charted and written out.
Finished Measurements: 18 (20½, 22)” brim circumference and 33¼” at the widest circumference
Yarn Requirements: Approximately 200 yards of fingering weight yarn such as LAMANA Milano (90% Superfine Merino/ 10% Cashmere; 25g/197yds)
Needles: US 2 (2.75mm) 16” circular and DPNs
Gauge: 24 sts and 38 rnds = 4” in chart A patten, after blocking
