Craft a traditional Aran for the smallest member of your family! Ciaran from Jen Hagan Design is just like an adult’s sweater, but it knits up so much faster and will keep your little warm and stylish. The sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up, and the sleeves are worked from the armhole to the cuffs in the round. This pattern is sized from newborn to 24 months. The cable patterns are both charted and written out.

Gauge: 
    20 sts and 24 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch on US 7 (4.50mm) 
    18 sts and 22 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch on US 8 (5.00mm)
    25 sts and 24 rows =  4” in Chart B cable pattern on US 8 (5.00mm)
